Community Standards

Meant only works when it’s full of real people being genuine with each other. These standards describe what we expect from everyone here. Following them keeps the community safe, honest, and worth showing up for.

Meant is for real people only. Use your own photos, be honest about who you are, and don’t pretend to be someone else.

Fake profiles, bots, and AI-generated personas have no place here. If a profile isn’t a real human looking to connect, it doesn’t belong on Meant.

Talk to people the way you’d want to be talked to. A “no thanks” is part of meeting people. Accept it gracefully and move on.

Hate speech, discrimination, and demeaning language aren’t welcome. Respect goes a long way toward making real connections possible.

When you take a match offline, meet in a public place and tell a friend where you’re going. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you don’t owe anyone your time.

Never send money to someone you met on the app, no matter the story. Anyone asking for cash, gift cards, or crypto is a red flag, not a match.

Harassment, threats, stalking, and unwanted sexual messages are strictly prohibited. Pressuring someone after they’ve said no is harassment too.

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block or unmatch them at any time, and the conversation ends immediately on both sides.

If you see behavior that breaks these standards, report it from the ⋯ menu in any chat. Reports are anonymous, so the other person is never told it was you.

We review reports and act on them. Serious or repeated violations end the account, and we’ll always side with keeping the community safe.
